Description
I must admit, I didn't ONLY take photographs of doors while I was in Chicago! There were some pretty spectacular windows, too.
As long as I'm confessing ... I'm not any kind of a shopper at all, and I had no idea what I was shooting. When I got home I had to look it up!
Zoom ... I've left it really big this time.
Check out what you can see through the window and what's reflected. There's ultra modern and old Chicago all in the same place. :)

Oooh! Shiny! .. Pretty.. Really nice looking actually.. So this is the pad you stayed in huh?? Neat! Nice picture Tara! rob
Great reflection shot....
beautiful shot!
Great capture Tara. I like all the reflections. Looks like every window is reflecting in a slightly different direction.
I love reflections and this is a real beauty! I didn't see this on my one trip to Chicago! Another reason to go back someday! Excellent capture!
I'm not a shopper, either. Well...by necessity I am, but that's it...if I need shoes or food, I go to the appropriate place. Having said that, I love this shot. In an odd way, it reminds me of the Dancing Building in Prague...I think it's the curve of it, the interesting glass, and that odd cutaway roof thingie. The Dancing Building (also known as the Fred and Ginger Building or in more colloquial Czech, the dancing house. If you listen to Stepan--the guy with those socks--every building is a 'house' no matter what) is something incredibly surreal. It's actually a very lopsided, asymmetrical building, and there is an echo of it in this shot! I think it's the glass and those wonderful wrought-iron pieces. Wonderful work, wonderful color! I love this! (Funny how this shot reminds me of Prague, but knowing the photographer, I'm not that surprised.
Cool, excellent capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
