Bryce6.1/DazStudio/Photoshop
A further exploration of lighting...this time I decided to play around with some recent props from Daz3D.The pottery is part of the Egyptian Pottery set,the Column is from the Temple of the Pharoahs set(all posed in DazStudio). The sand is a custom terrain that I created using the various settings in the terrain editor(subcontours, subplateaus, smoothing and erosion),the texture is a modified preset. The sunlight was disabled, and one radial light with moderate falloff and low light setting was placed in front of the grouping to simulate the light from a single lantern as the tomb was opened for the first time in centuries.Rendered in Premium with soft shadows and true ambiance selected.Post in Photoshop involved a slight levels adjustment and signature. Thanks for viewing, your previous comments, and any you wish to leave!

Your terrain with the sand texture is very nicely done.

You definitely achieved the lighting effect. Nicely done!
Excellent! This is very good work.
What a cool scene; the lighting is perfect.
I really like the way you did this. The sand and the lighting really hit the spot!!! Good job! (5)
great lighting and arrangement of the subjects and how they are lying in the sand. very well done!!
simple mais bien fait ainsi que le sable et la lumiere
Really nicely done! Love the lighting. :)
Kudos on the sandy terrain, Neil. The lighting works extremely well...perhaps objects lying in wait for discovery in an ancient tomb of a Pharaoh.
Very nice scene. Excellent lighting and textures! Really nice render.
Wonderfully conceived and executed! Sand over dark background, successful combination.
Excellent esepcialy the work with the sand.
Great texturing and composition - random but ordered...
Very natural looking, good work. It's a pity (but not your fault) that some of the models are so low poly.
That's a still life that's been "still" for thousands of years.
