Simple and beautifull...
I have been looking into this lovely scene for the better share of ten minutes now .. thoroughly enjoying myself. Setting aside that this looks as if were painted (yes, painted) from one of many locations near to where I grew up, setting that aside, this is simply a beautifully inspired and crafted work. It puts me in mind of the pure and naturalistic simplicity of Andrew Wyeth's style. Beautiful! .. both here and up on my wall, which is where it also now hangs. ;-) Congratulations & a Really big HUG! Terry

Oh, yes indeed! I like this a lot! Like the last, I like the contrast. The soft pastel sky and water and the soft fan shapes in the foreground, against the strong, angular trees in the back. I love the light and shadows on the trees. There is a simplicity of design and tone of color that reminds me of Japanese woodblock prints. Very, very nice!
