Description
I saw this building along the main drag in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Buildings like this one remind me of the fact that this part of the country at one time belonged to Mexico. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer of these kinds of buildings are around and this one was condemned by the city.
This picture was taken on 4 October 2009.
Thank you for viewing, commenting, and favs,

Despite the fact it looks like it is about to collapse under its own weight it is a great looking building. Sad that you do see less and less of this style architecture. It always looked so nice.
Fantastic capture of this building! Love your sky too/Excellent photo Sig :)
Wonderful capture my friend.
I love this kind of buildings! I think it's a mistake to demolish them because we lose a piece of history. Great picture!
I always have enjoyed driving through New Mexico the colors of the homes, and structures are so unique, this would make a great movie setting or video background super looking place...
hi Sig ! sad to hear it is condemned , your fantastic capture will remenber it for ever , excelent !
Sorry to ehar it is condemmed. Wonderful picture
I really love this style of building
looks like it may have been a motel. I like this adobe style and it is a shame that it will be torn down. excellent shot Sig
@Richardphotos. There were several small stores in there, including a tattoo studio and some small apartments toward the rear!
Like walking back in time. A shame to change and a nice shot! I like Quemado for the same reason.

yes i think that gives the special charm to the city such houses.

Shame it can't be saved. All that will remain soon will be this picture and our memory of it. Thanks.
Hate to see these buildings and landmarks erased from history. Nice capture. Aloha

Wonderful image! :)
wowwwwww how wonderful !!!! love it
Wonderful image!!!
wonderful shot, I'm very sorry they condemned this very beautiful building. I remember they destroyed a once very famous hotel in the typical Southwestern style, built by the Santa Fe railroad in the early 1900s. They made a documentary on it, and they were spealing of building a copy of the old one. I don't say more, we can write bad words in RR.
Fascinating! what a shame about its fate.
excellent building great shot
