Description
Many street in Paris were paved before the 1968 political events, but the Paris pavement was used to throw against the police or to build barricades. However, in many other French towns, some streets are still paved. The Lille pavement is famous for its decorative shapes. Click on the image to see it better. All comments welcome.
De nombreuses rues parisiennes étaient pavées avant les évènements de 1968, au cours desquels le pavé servit comme arme contre la police ou pour construire des barricades. Il fut retiré par la suite. Cependant dans d’autres villes certaines rues restent pavées. Les pavés de Lille sont réputés pour leur forme décorative. Cliquez sur l’image pour en apprécier les détails. Techdata: Nikon D50 with Sigma 4-5.6/10-20mm at shortest focal length (103° diagonal angle), 1/125s at f/11 in aperture-priority automatic, 200 ISO. I have just cleaned the cigarettes with the Clone Stamp Tool in Photoshop CS3 Extended.
