Description
This Water Dragon made his first appearance this year, on the rock ledge in my garden.
(Northern Rivers region of New South Wales)
He was holding very still and also let me take a close-up of him, from head to tail he was almost 2 meters long !
...he could even be a she ?
Cheers *BB*

Wow! What a great opportunity to capture this wildlife specimen! One of these days when I can get everything sorted out for a vacation and visit you guys, we definately need to go on a safari of photographic journalism! :) The captures in your gallery are a testament to some of the amazing wonders of Australia.
Wonderful capture, "excellent" well done..
nice capture to
Really fascinating capture...bravissimo!:DDD.Hugsxx
nice pics, a most handsome lizard.
Well done!
He gave a bit of a shock when I climbed up the rock wall, but you got some great captures before he/she ran away and it's pretty kool we have our own Dragon guard ! LOL & ~Cheers~
Great work and shot!
Nice capture of this eastern water dragon, excellent pose
Whoa! Two meters?! This is a dragon indeed! We have no legged reptiles of that size around here. Super shots of him, or her as the case may be.
How fab to have these in your garden!
wonderful photo and colours
Super captures, and he is pretty big too. He looks similar to our little gekos but so much bigger. A great addition for your garden.
and he/she likes to pose for pics as well.... must be something in the water...cute dragon, maybe will invite relatives over to sun themselves on the rocks... protecting you and the pools from predators... (pesky political pollsters) fun pic!
great photo, it is so nice to see these in our area, we get them here to.
A great snap, animal seems happy and proud.
very nice~
Such a regal creature! I love his (her?) posture and colors...fantastic clarity, wonderful POV as well. I really like this quite a lot, especially since I like reptiles. Great work, and I am glad I discovered your gallery. I have catching up to do...and I plan to catch up quite a bit.
superlative shot and collage!
