Description
... or Brunfelsia pauciflora 'Eximia' for the gardeners out there! The name "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" was given to this beautiful shrub because the blooms change color from purple to lavender to white in approximately 3 days... It is very happy right next to my front door and my only wish is to be able to upload the beautiful sweet fragrance too... It fills the whole house and of course plays absolute havoc with my sinusses!!! It is in full bloom at the moment and is giving a glorious show!
Thank you for popping in and for your very valued comments and favs on my previous upload!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

Beautiful image Carin! :)
If only we COULD have the scent, Carin! The perfect double sense experience. It looks related to the phlox.

Great one, Carin, I can just smell it! Cheers, Clive
It does look a bit like phlox, and what a beautiful flower it is! Great shot!
Andrea & Denise - The blooms do resemble the phlox but the shrub is huge - reaching the roof at present!

Lovely effects and contrast, Carin!
This is a lovely flower and I'm glad it is doing well in your garden.
These are gorgeous!!! The fact that they change color so fast is intriguing, and for your sake probably a good thing,....or do they then stay in white mode for some time? Sorry about the sinus issue that accompanies.
it is wonderful work !
That must be a gorgeous sight when it's in full bloom. What a beautiful bush! Ek mis jou, Dierbaar! Dit sou goed wees om te praat tot jy weer.
So sweet it brings tears to my eyes. Stellar macro.
Beautiful!
What a beautiful flower. The fragrance must be wonderful.
Oh, these little flowers are precious; reminds me of some flowers that were growing all over patricks old tractor this summer .. the cutest little things--they grew on a vine. :)
Beatiful as always! Well done... rob.
