Description

Been a while since I did any matte painting, thought it about time to get some practice in ( and have a change from Poser stuff, which doesn't seem that great recently) This was put together pretty quickly, working off a plate I found whilst perusing the stock images section at Deviantart. The rest is a combination of various photo elements and a fair bit of painting in Photoshop. It's not great, but not a bad effort to start me off I think. Cheers, Ian

Just like the 'Dead Marshes' from LOTR...except, minus the dead people...although there is a church ruin, so there maybe a few corpses ! Well composed Vue-scape and just right atmosphere. ~Cheers~

Many thanks to all for your kind words...In response to Jif3d, I just wanted to add that no 3D app was used in this...it's purely a Photoshop creation. Ironically, I have Vue but have never used it.
