Description
My parents never had much money when I was growing up so our summer holidays usually meant day trips to the mountains or the beach. These children playing in Mendocino brought back those memories.

When I was quite young we lived in a little house right on the beach, and I grew up with sand and shells and seaweed as my back yard. This is a lovely memory ... thank you!

This is that rare bit of Magic that occurs when Nature smiles upon our creative endeavors and decides to endow our work with a sense of sublime beauty only She can provide. Something else .. by posting this image you have determined what my own next posting shall be. The only way to explain this is by showing. Delightful!! We had no money to spare, but we lived so close to the beach that all leisure time was spent there or in the garden...and it still is! One of those figures could so easily be me.
