Description
A year ago, my husband was laid off from his job.
He's working now, but it was a very stressful year...and things aren't back to normal yet. We still have an uphill battle keeping the house we bought as newlyweds 20 years ago---a lot of bills are piled up and there are days I don't think we'll ever get through those...but we're still standing.
I need to take this opportunity to thank the people here who supported me---either by purchasing my stuff, sending me toys or by being a friend. This image is for all of you. I especially need to thank Lynn & Amy...thank you. I doubt we would have made it this far if you two weren't around...
And to everyone else...please be kind. It's a bad situation for SO very many people. If you have a job for someone don't wait for someone to find it, go out and find someone to give it to. Give it to someone that may not be 'completely' qualified, but is hungry, willing to learn and so desperate to work. Give them enough to feed their families...this last year taught me all too well how to rely on the kindness of strangers. We didn't starve, but we did go hungry.
If you have a lot of stuff laying around your house collecting dust, get on Freecycle, give it away---this includes food. Reach out to someone in need. You never know what that random act of kindness will bring.

yeah hard call Laura... if it weren't for generous people like yourself, allowing me to render their products... even in the crappy way that i do... then I guess I wouldn't be the artist I could dream of never being. I came to a conclusion a long time ago.. eat... or buy Poser product... I'm not dead, so I guess I must graze on enough grass on the lawn. Hard times... hard decisions.. and some rich bugger said, "Life is Easy", somebody shoot that guy will ya! Now... Hidden Winds!!!! enough already... you've already found the amazing beauty in that pack... possibly the best pack for Poser I have ever seen, and you do it so much justice. Fabi will be proud of you!

I Look forward to coming home from the mines and creating images utilising your products. Malice and Mayhem have inspired me and taken me to new places. Great render and words. Yes, life can be hard and take strange turns when you least expect them. Either by personal tragedies (loss of people), illness or loss of work. Each person has the strenght to give and share. Sometimes small, sometimes big. Material things or just friendship and kindness. Many of those are lost since people lead a hectic live or just forget. But when you take a moment to give a little dont you get a lot ? That smile on someones face, the knowledge that the other has it a little easier. Very nice image, Super pose and lighting, beautiful!! Just hope that things start looking up for you and all others on here that find themselves in the same situation.. I too have been in a similar situation and am only work part time at my job when the work is there.. but always try to give to others knowing that as you give you also receive back, maybe not straight away but when its needed, I've never been without, but may not have abundance, but always got through when needed.. Wonderful image and very powerful and moving words. I work at Inter-Faith Treasure House where we give out food boxes, assist with rent,power and other utilities. I've seen so many people espcially in the last year or so coming in, asking for help. For a lot, it is their first time. We rely on donations of food and clothing and other items. the clothing we sell and that gives us money to buy more food to help people. For those of you who have the time, donate some time to help out places like Treasure House. They can always use more help!

Laura... you have developed much more than a Poser skill... In my oppinion, you are a terrific person, and your art is just a small reflection of who you are... I totally agree... with ALL the words you said... in a whole sense, with no change even to a comma... NO ONE of us could be who we are without all those "strangers" that fill out our working days, and maybe more... As D. said, YES I am super proud of you... for all this, for being simply you.
