...well inside my head and PC with 'Purple Haze' and 'Stone Free' as my favorite tracks.
HENDRIX...one of my all-time guitar heros, played mostly Fender Strat's.
Jimi plays here a Cherry Sunburst 1969 Stratocaster, just like my own treasured model.
p.s. George, I hope you like my Sasquatch Afro ?
Cheers jif3d :o)

That is really cool Jeff. Awesome that you have an axe like that one too!

Totally awesome Jeff!!! Jimi Rocks forever!!!!!!! :)
Awesome work! You really nailed it, looks just like him! A great tribute to one of the greatest guitar players. You forgot to reverse the strings though, or did you think we wouldn't notice? ;) still, super work.
Most excellent work!
Instantly recognizable likeness of the best rock guitarist of all time! Yes, you really nailed it!
Wow. this is awesome! You captured him. CC
Wow, that's an incredible likeness. Jimi was and still is a legend. You've honored him well.
ooooo baby... deep into the zen of the killer chords, becoming one with his guitar, an exquisite moment captured in a way we can only imagine.... and don't worry about the strings being backward.... it's the face that sells this!
I was gonna say something bout them Strings too but hey, Lefties in a Righty world, you know how that goes. A fitting tribute to Jimmi and not long past the 40th Anniversery of Woodstock. Peace
Exceptional render & image... Yes Jimi rocks....!!!!
Whoa! This is Really Outstanding!! Super job, Jeff! Jimi was, and still is, one of main idols growing up (I'm still growing up, not there yet). My favorite song? Well, the whole Electric Ladyland album played as a single song would come closest. By the way, for those who don't know, Jeff has the strings just as Jimi did. Yes, he played them upside down. I have a friend who also plays that way, and quite well. Go figure. But there's no doubting Jimi's ability with a Strat. Maybe we guitarists should all try stringing up that way . . . Nah! :^)
Ahhhh a trip down memory lane. Awesome piece of work Jeff, just perfect.
Excellent work! Now where is the animation?
Oh, das finde ich ja mal klasse! Das rockt! Jimi Hendrix wie er leibt und lebt(e). Gefällt mir wirklich sehr gut!
Splendid and creative realization my friend.....!!!!
WAY to go Jeff! A guitar legend! And you have done him well. All along the Watchtower too! Fantastic portrait!
Excuse me while I kiss the sky! Damn dude- one hell of a likenes, not to mention a friggin awesome scene setup! The volumetrics or fog make me feel like I am watching a concert- this looks hella real!

Oh yea nailed it !
Looks awesome Jeff,My fav is Wind cries Mary and and Little Wing :)
Outstanding!
Outstanding work Jeff ... Jimi is still one of my favorites musical artists. He was a genius with that left-handed upside-down guitar. I see that you caught that lil' detail in your render. How'd he do that!!!??? BTW, I saw him w/ the Experience in concert at the Jarhhunderthalle, Frankfurt, Germany in 1969 ... 'twas quite a show. :-)
