Description
Serenity's parents participate in the Trifecta Venatorius. I did a portrait of her last year if you'd like to see how she's grown. :)
Let me tell you a fun story:
I was working on this portrait and kept thinking, "She looks so much like Kayla!" (Meisiekind's granddaughter.) So one day Carin and I were gabbing on the headset, and I sent her this shot. Kayla happened to be sitting right there having her breakfast, and Carin showed Kayla (now three years old) this picture and said, "Kayla, who's this?" Kayla replied without hesitation, "It's Kayla!"
They aren't twins by any means, but the resemblance is quite striking! Here's one of my favorite portraits that Carin has done of Kayla

bet that would be equally gorgeous in b & w !
Beautiful shot of this beautiful little girl Tara. She does look like Carin's granddaughter!

What a cutie...they are so much fun at this age...watching them learn new words and actions...nice picture
Excellent !!!!!!!!!!!!!
superb portrait
Fantastic image. This could be part of an anti-war poster. "This is what you will harm if...." Beautiful...
Grande ritratto ! Bimba molto bella con espressione vispa e sbarazzina
Yes there are similarities with Kayla—I just looked! But Serenity also has a look of her own. The shade on her face, the light, the way you caught her hair strands, and that beautiful off to the side gaze (something you capture well in all ages) make this not only a beautiful portrait, but a thoughtful one—her gaze moving away from us and out of the shot (one of the things that makes a portrait bigger than its frame)...The roundness almost seems painted, it's so delicate. Fine & sensitive work, tara. Clarity & softness in one image.
what a lovely face, love her expression
Such a beautiful capture.
She is a cutie, excellent capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
