Sounds as though you are itching to get away Marilyn, have a great time my friend. I love this photo, the vibrant blue is wonderful, and love how the reflections of the people viewing it are there too, a really great capture. hugs Jane xx

Darn it, I was hoping that was your Chevy. Vivid colors, chrome and lighting. I recognize the Beach Boys, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin in your list, but that's about it. As for the title, where is Willie Nelson, one of my all time favorites?

Another kool bowtie! - Have a safe trip Marylin. Now playing: "Say, here I am, on the road again... from Turn the Page by Bob Seger)
Let's see, 1942 pickup, or 1946? Or neither? Lovely dead-on shot that gets right to the point of things. I love the shiny chrome( they just don't do chrome like that any more...or at all )and those great distorted reflections in the hood! Beautiful! Have a fun and safe trip and don't forget the Doors and Beatles.
more eye popping car music for you & I'm glad you went away & glad it's such a fine trip. The chrome blue and sheen is beautiful and so are the reflections. This is a real Marilyn car shot, there's no other way to describe it. And the pink light on the hood (left of center) is perfect...
