Description
My entry for the 2009 e-on environment contest. Well, it made it into the finalist top-12, so that's more than OK :)
Signature and a bit downscaling in Photoshop for this version, no other postwork.
Thanks for taking a look, comments etc. always welcome.
Have a nice Sunday

Delightful scene !!
Wonderful scene. Excellent lighting, vegetation and atmosphere! Outstanding work!
Stunning composition and very beautiful render. I just love this one!
It is a fantastic one and deserved the selection under the top twelve very much. Congrats to that and congrats to this image Lars.
Excellent scene.
Beautiful scene and render.
This picture was my choice. If I had been the judge you would have won. There were many fine pictures but to me this was the best. I just love this picture. Congrats.
Great to see that light as the scene, and what the picture nor the kick is, the bicycles*****
Yes I remember seeing this image in the top 12. It definitely belonged with the best.
Excellent artwork!
very, very fine work!
I was hoping it would be the winning image! Excellent work IMHO.
What a shame it didn't make it. Gorgeous compo. Great lighting. A wonderful image......as always.
Meraviglioso...sembra un dipinto. Fantastic work!
This is superb. An excellent render.
wonderful work, hugs Maya!!!
I believe it was difficult job for the judges. Great entries all twelve. Next year, maybe...? I really dropped my jaw when I saw this, brilliant entry.
Very beautiful scene! Excellent work!!
Great compo. and lighting. beautiful work
Excellent work, as usual, really excellent. A place I would love to be, an image I would have been proud to make.
Beautiful!
Fantastic looking render :) I love the painterly look! Congratulations on getting so far in the contest - very well deserved!
What a beautiful image and so many wonderful details! I love the mushrooms growing out of the tree, just amazing work!
Excellent image!
Wonderful Render, Lars, its so romantic and has a special quality of a painting
One of your best renders and in my opinion even though I was also one of the finalists, I think your entry should have won.
Very good light and scene.
What can I say, there are great images.. and then there are those that reside at a much higher level. I look at this image and think of my 32 year old daughter, diabetic since 7, who travels the world biking the pathways of nature that she admires so much. I hope such work can find there way into my own efforts in time!
great!
That is incredible work! You can hear the cicadas buzzing in the trees and the crickets in the grass! Even the wind through the leaves. Cheers!
