Description
Yes, this has a bit of an attitude. It comes from very recent experiences that some of my best friends and I have had lately. Doesn't mean we're all giving up on some people, it just means---
WHAT'S THE DEAL?????
What’s the deal
With you
Why do you say
One thing
And do another
What’s the deal
Anyway
Why do you tell
Me you’ll be somewhere
And not show up
What’s the deal
I listen
To what you say
And I believe you
How quaint is that
What’s the deal
I give
You my heart and soul
And I love you
And you leave
What’s the deal
Is there
No truth honesty
Integrity left
In this world
WHAT THE **** IS THE DEAL??????

And we'll never know the answer.
Sounds like you need answers and this person better reply quick! Nice job on this one!
There is a lot of passion in the way you say what you are saying here, very nice
Ain't that the truth....I see it everyday.. Aloha
Too many people like that these days... It's a good question, and I find myself asking that often.
Yep, I wrote a poem very similar to this one. Ain't it the truth......Aloha
Lovely written and cool image x
relate can wonderful work warm hugs, Linda
Well this is great short sharp shock for the recipient of these words, If I were this pissed I'd have not used the asterisks LOL!!
Are you referring to just anyone, or to your contacts on Renderosity? Well, to put it directly on the line, my conscience is completely clear in this matter, because I have never made any deal vis-a-vis a tryst with you, neither covert or overt, at least not yet that is. Maybe later. Action speaks louder than words. Not much fun to be stiffed. Oh, yes, love the Kon Tiki image.
Lovely words, how true they are.. excellent writing, Well done!!
WTF is the deal yes?????!!!!! Amen dear sister... I couldn't agree with you more... I am beginning to think it is character flaws.... Fantastic writing and thank you!!! :)
Very nicely writen i like it a lot ever one has gone trough something like it even my self outstanding poem
The "deal" is that, in today’s world, the only things that people are fateful to – is themselves. It is a sad testimonial to today’s society, when you can count your true, trusted friends on your fingers. This is very well written and powerful. :>( Dana
yes I know what you're writing about. Well written & stated very succinctly & with your usual brief power. And the image is a kind of primal angry face making it known that the person who's being spoken to is not amused. Solid expression of what you're conveying, Marilyn. And stated powerfully & directly.
I'm a bit late in reading this, but a part of that is because I'm asking the same question, only a bit more rudely. I think I put it as: "Holy frak, did you go to school to learn to be so frakkin' stupid?" Only the word "frak" is a censor-safe version of the actual word I used. I honestly think that 90% of humanity is little more than a waste of resources and would be better off reduced to their constituent proteins that would be used to feed the hungry. I agree with Mark, your words and image are so succint and to the point in a kind of 21st Century no-nonsense bluntness that never sinks into crassness. That's a treacherous tightrope to walk, while writing, because you write about a crass person, and at times, the only appropriate response to them is a fart in their general direction...crass indeed, but that's why this piece works so well; it's the exact opposite of what it confronts. Well done!!!! In terms of the question this raises in the end, I think the answer is the simple: "What's the deal?" The answer is as plain as day. "People like that are allowed to do what they do, becuause everyone else is too busy following social law, and not killing them outright. **And as an aside note, there's a scene in the Stargate GG-1 series that I really love...the mysterious alien guy who is a part of the good-guy's team looks at prick of the week and simply says: "If we were on my world, I would be perfectly within my rights to disembowl you where you stand." I wish we were on that world! Things might not be easier, but they'd be so much more efficient!
