Description
what you see in the back ground is some house boats made by the locals here. most look like what you see when they made. of couse many is wild like I showed last year with the bath room out side or one had a big oil rig life boat as a house boat. anyway these are for rent for $150 a night I think. I did ask for rent for a few months and he say for $30,000. lol he will sell his old one at the end of this season if you wish to buy it.
The lady is my friend with bi-pole. she doing good. She moved and now have to wait on the school board to sent someone to check to see if her two kids is liveing at that address. they can not go to school. wonder why so many drop out of school here in Louisiana.

She looks very beautiful, Jocko! I wish her all the best! Great shot!
The thing that gets me is the amount of actual 'humanity" you get into your pictures.. They are about real places and real people and all. It is not an imaginary place or virtual scene but reality at it's most REAL... These are people that live and have families and lives and kids and the places you show are not pretentioous or anything but they are down to earth real life... What you do is much different than what a lot do here.. That is the thing with photographs as apposed to, say , Poser like I do.. all my stuff is imaginary and not real or having substance. Yeah the ideas behind my work may be real ideas but that is intangible and yours is the stuff of life, my friend.... this lady is alive and has things happening and real effects that take spirit to overcome.. You are amasing to be able to dig in and see and show this kind of image... BRAVO my friend... keep it up.. we need more reality to keep us grounded... wouldn't want my head to fill up with hot air and have me float off.. This type of work keeps me grounded and in touch with reality when I view it..... I would give you a 20 if they would let me but all it says is 5.. you are welcome to that 5 though.. and you deserve more...
Wow, what a great looking chick! Is that a tattoo on her right forearm? Stellar capture of your friend with her bottle of Pepsi, and the houseboat behind her, Jock!
I agree, she looks good! I wish her the best! Lovely pic! (:
Great picture with a great story . . . ! You should go into journalism, Jocko . . . !

A wonderful shot of your friend and the surroundings.
A very joyous moment you've nicely captured....
Great pic of her and the boat her Jocko and I would love to live on one of them myself for a bit. I'm glad to hear your friend is doing better now.
Excellent shot my friend, beautiful model....!!!!
I agree about the earthy feel of your work. She looks so happy now, Jock, in the sunshine. Some of those houseboats I saw are pretty nice inside and well worth the price per day, compared to other places to stay. Some are also not quite that expensive, at least in off season. Wouldn't want to be there during hurricane season, though.
Nice, very nice shot!
Nice candid capture, you friend looks much better now, but I would lay off the Pepsi though...too much sugar ! Well done & ~Cheers~
