Agreed with most of comments! I find the subtle story behind your traditionally symmetrical order of pieces very amusing part of visiting this gallery. Aside of that, I particularly like this set of colors.

Primorosa criação minha amiga, obra magnifica, excelente, aplausos (5)

I like how you've turned those fish eyes on the main fish into a sort of fish stigmata. And I also admire the way you've made the fish in the center slimy. The face behind the fish looks predatory or maybe it's a scavenger, yet it's enveloping the fish as if its fur is also a robe. The mummified men in their wrappings suggest religion to me. The sea of fish and the puzzle pieces are compelling as well. I love the rich golds and browns with the white accents. It's a fascinating design whatever the intention may or may not be. I appreciate your cerebral work with hints of symbolism.

well it's always great to follow Cathy, because she opens doors for me every time. And I love mikeerson's comment (stumped 'm this time! hey I often need time to penetrate your many worlds, Mandi!) Yes, there's a religious component, the fish representing something sacred in a few traditions. (Ichthus, in Greek [ie, fish], being an acronym for the early Christ for example, which I have a feeling you know very well.) And the mummified sarcophagi, look like mendicants of the early church, though they could be Muslim too. But there's a Byzantine feeling to the piece, and the face in the center of the center fish looks byzantine or even Roman. Great how your visions effortlessly coax bits & pieces from many cultures...And I see a predator just like Cathy, in fact the central panel almost feels like a caveat; but moreso it has a ritual feeling, a convening of several kinds of discipline into a single altar. And the fish on either side feel like ornament on old churches, ie, the cornucopia of saints & such that bolster the main images. Whatever it is, it has its own inner logic, and it's fine & teeming as always. (And yes, it feels like an Association emblem. Something very 'official' about it!) So fine.

Yummy fish brains!

Fantastic work! One has to do a zoom to really get the effect of this piece.

Oh wow! My first look made me think of Egyptian Art, especially Ra, but when I looked closer at it full sized, you really blew my mind. Wow!!!!

You have a splendid creativity my friend ;O)
