Superb composition ! The scene is very well rendered : the mystic pose of the Lama, the alarmed child on the edge, the nice snow leopard... I like the motion blur on the snow flakes in the wind !! Excellent work !!

Looks great by itself. Really looking forward to seeing the painted version. Is this Green Lama any relation to the 40s comic book character?

Yes David, the same. Created by Kendal Foster Crossen back in 1940 for Double Detective Magazine. Back fighting the wicked, and still with Buddhist sensibilities, in an anthology of new stories.

Really nice!! B&W reminds the ambiance of great contrast and few colors in high moutain landscape.

Super nice pencils Mike. Didn't know drawing was also a great skill of yours, but based on past compositions-- I should have guessed. Look forward to seeing your version of cover! (Will it be distressed?)

Thanks Chipp - the clients didn't want it distressed, just a painting for their cover designer. I missed doing that side of it but a job is a job.
