Description

I have a reference book and I am almost sure this is a young male. The other young do not have the speckles on their throat. I know I have enjoyed so much being able to photograph from the sunroom windows this spring.Having major surgery on my spine made me slow down and watch with a new prospective on nature. I just can't get enough of our little creatures.

I am sorry that you had surgery Bev, I too had surgery on my spine a few years ago. Now I am indoors at home most of the time, due to chronic illness, that is why mostly my photos and art includes mine and my daughter's pets. Once a photographer and artist, always just that, and we as artists will always find a way. I must say this is a remarkable capture, a superb piece of photography, very well done, and I am glad you glean such joy from them. I wish you a full recovery, and take it easy, don't do too much too soon. hugs Jane xxx

Stunning photograph! Expertly taken, well done. We only get humming bird moths in the UK and they are quite rare and gone in the blink of an eye.
