Description
Years ago, there was a commercial on television for FORDs. The cartoon character in it said at the end, "It's a FORD", with the letters spelled out on his lips. I was enthalled by that (kids are SO easily entertained!!) and tried so hard to make to make it happen. I'm probably much better off that it never did, I'd look pretty silly. (Though maybe FORD would pay me for advertising!!)
Oh yeah, my dad WAS a Ford man, learned to drive in a 1955 Ford Ranch Wagon, stick shift, 3 on the tree!! Wish I had that car NOW!!

Great classic car shot! I would love to have one too!
I remember being told that when the first Fords came out 'you could have any colour so long as it was black'!
Another gorgeous auto shot; you have a real affinity for these type of shots, great work!
Excellent image Marilyn... I love the reflections and the POV is spot on! Wonderful work my friend! :)
That's a great perspective.
looks very cool x
Very nice. Great image.
GREAT shot beach! My first car was a used 1962 white Ford Fairlane - 3 speed clutch shift .... H on the Column gearshift .... Do you have a FULL size pic of this? My BEST to you and yours, KIND SOUL .... TallPockets.
wow!!!!
Wonderful work maz, great colour that ford.
We are still a FORD family, carrying on the tradition of my father. We had Fords until the year I entered high school. Then he bought a Pontiac Grand Prix. I was T-boned by the local wino 3 months later and the car was totalled. So much for other brands... LOL Back to Ford we went. Presently, we are a 2-Ford family and I can't tell you how much I loved my Ford pick-em-up truck that I had before this little Escort. Unfortunately, I didn't like the 9 miles to the gallon it got, hence, the Escort. LOL
wonderful!!!
This is a beautiful capture my friend, I sure wish I owned one of these beautys
3 on the tree? Stellar POV, clarity, colors, and reflectivity in this excellent portrait of the V8 F--O--R--D hood and grille, Marilyn! What year is it, circa mid 1930s? Incidentally, no one in my family ever owned a Ford.
cool shot! I learned to drive on a 56 ford. My dad didn't was the car much and it was very dirty. So I packed in my girlfriends and went to the car wash. It had a lot of body rot. The car started falling apart. I guess the dirt was holding it together!!
I had a 78 Ford pickup new and it was a real lemon, but I had an eighty Ford van and I had no trouble with it.never the less I do not plan on buying any fords. outstanding pov you chose
Love the pov ... it looks like a corset!
Lovely shot well done. Owned a few fords in my time, Escort, Cortinas several, Zepher, F.O.R.D was told it stands for Fix Or Repair Daily.. I thinks a holden lover told me that hehe..
Don,t you love it when it all comes together :) - I like the creative nature of this type of shot - not all of us have the powerful suject matter to shoot so we make it up as we go - great job !
Oooh that paint looks so rich and bright...I love it.
really nice sweep & plunge, and the color is big and saturated, and you have these yellows to the sides of some of your red-chrome shots, and the feel like big paint strokes. Wonderful color and sweep. It's a lot more than a Ford to me! Your crop caught the plunge in action...any more car and it would've been lessened. Whoosh!
