Description
Took this at around 8:30 last night, as flashes of lightning & the sound of thunder began. It developed into a spectacular show of strobe lightning & very loud rolling thunder that lasted until at least 1 am (which is when I went to sleep). Thankfully, a heavy rain eventually came & I haven't heard of any fires in the area (we've had 100+ temperatures for over a week & fire danger here is extreme)...

GREAT SHOT++++++++5
Gods playground!
That's an incredible photo, the light on the clouds, the colors, wow!
nice brew.....!
absolutly fascinating in colors and structures and amazing how the clouds rebuild the outline of the trees in the sky again
Wonderful capture of nature's fury! Sure could use some of that rain over here. We are about to, or have, passed our record for amount of days of 100+ for the year. And we really need rain.
Wow amazing sky! Very nice capture.
Breathtaking image. Wonderful detail in those clouds and great color.
Good thing it did not have a purple-green tint....would have headed to the basement! (tornado). Awesome capture...love storms, personally.
Wow! This is beautiful.
I'm a fan of cloud photos, and this one earns top marks for the mirroring of cloud and tree-line.
Stunning capture!
Heat of the moment. Two thumbs up.
