Description
Another planet, another battlefield, another wasteland of shattered, twisted metal and fallen souls...warriors felled and soon forgotten. When will it end? When will it be determined that these armed conflicts between species are pointless? When will they see that one conquers and is in turn conquered;that the effort of safeguarding ones beliefs, customs, lineage is best done in the spirit of acceptance of their differences and rejoicing in their similarities. To understand one another.
Bryce 6.1/DazStudio/Photoshop/Photoscape
This image came about as a result of two purchases I made from Daz3D's Dollar Daze sale on now...The V3M3 Skeleton and Major Cache outfit.I couldn't decide which to use first,so I used them both! The skeleton and outfit were posed in DazStudio, the texture on the skeleton is a shell texture from Stephen Ray(Daz3D).The terrains are textured in two photos of dry earth from CGTextures,The wreckage is a photo from CGTextures imported into the terrain editor to create a lattice, and then that lattice was textured in the same photo.A sphere in a modified smog volumetric creates the blowing dust.Sky,lighting and atmo are custom.Rendered in Premium setting with soft shadows and true ambiance selected. In Photoshop I added more blowing dust, the crack in the helmet visor and signature. In Photoscape 3.3 I added a film filter and frame,as well as a lens flare on the visor. Thanks for viewing and any comments you wish to leave!

A most poignant image, well staged and excellent use of volumetrics.
Agreed, it is a really sad topic but very well executed!
Wow! Impressive Fallen to death Scene !! Terrific composition, environment atmosphere & light !! So dramatic pose & instant death insight... Ammazzing SF (Excellent shiny helmet detail) Bravo ! xxxxx

A fine render and I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments here!!!
Very good pose and scene.
excellent work and composition!
Very good work.
Very nice image. Great lighting and atmosphere! Really well done.
...and that's why you shouldn't take off your helmet to sniff flowers on the Battlefield, especially when the atmosphere looks this toxic ! Nice take on the fallen soldier idea, painful pose, rugged terrain and that toxic atmosphere all come together perfectly to create a poignant scene ! Very well done & ~Cheers~
cool and disturbing sci-fi scene - great render!
Excellent idea and very well done!
That's a winner. Great work on the dust clouds.
VERY nice. A true perspective on war and death.
Great scene My only comments on this one would be: A) - The skeletons wrist should be hanging, not sticking out (Other than that, impressive positioning of the body B) - The outfit should be decaying or dusty, dirty or something, unless he was killed by some sort of remove all skin and organs ray :P Excellent work
Beautiful work...
GREAT
very nice work,MEDIC!
great sci-fi scene
Superb! I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments too - war makes no sense.
Great concept and execution of it, Excellent render
Good work on the pose (I agree with Korsheth regarding the hand but the way you posed it is much more dramatic). I think the lens flare on the visor wasn't really necessary and it's a bit confusing. To be honest, I didn't even know what that was until I read your description that it was a helment with a lens flare.
