Description
It is rather rare to catch these felines exactly like this, where the king and queen are walking next to each other. It happened so quickly that I just pointed and shot off a few images. I must admit that I was rather disappointed with the outcome. The male was slightly behind the lioness, so he is not in sharp focus... I tried to compromise by softening the image slightly... Anyway - here they are - the Royal Pair...
I've got a bust weekend planned but will try and keep up to date with comments.
Have a wonderful weekend all!!
Hugs, Carin xx

LOL Harry... bust weekend is a typo... I meant to say busy....
Wonderful capture Carin.
Well you managed an excellent outcome given the initial results. Stunning lion scene. Don't tell me you are going off to have fun without us - again! :D
I love the way this turned out. They are both so focused, so intent ... beautiful! And that light ... gosh ... gorgeous shot, Dierbaar!
they are beautiful.the subject counts more than sharp focus sometimes
Wonderful and rich image!
Sharpness? Who cares! Stunning picture....Love it.. Rob.
as if from a fairytale. Carin, ti's wonderful!
Fantastic shot!
A superb shot!
despite the quick shooting you got all the essence of this pair in this fine shot
LOL@ You !!!! Great shot though Carin --- even though Bruce, I mean the KING, is not all in focus. lol I love it :) :) :)
the content is so strong you must really have felt you HAD to do something with this one, and I totally agree.. I think you've done a nice job to add a bit of artistic flair given the soft focus, gorgeous lighting and all four eyes unobstructed, nice!
I love this. They are very regal!
What a pair... excellent.
Perfectly posed for you Carin, a beautiful shot, I've been away because I'm trying to get back into painting and this is image is one that would inspire and motivate me once again (only maybe if a beg your permission to use) I have my eyes on the little cute cub in your gallery too hehe!
