Some of you requested more of Tanner, so here is the last for awhile. A bit of our day out in the backyard. This puppy is just amazing! He follows me everywhere, if I stop he stops, if I run he runs, if I sit he sits or lays on my feet. Of course he has to attack my feet first! If I am holding him, he has to sleep upside down in my arm, I can hardly wait for ten pounds or more of dog tries that! He is already so strong that I worry a bit about him pulling and making me fall but he is smart so I hope to be able to train him not to do the pulling! We have a small fence that we put him in if I have to leave the area for a few minutes and he protests loudly at first but as long as Bunny is there, then he is okay:-) I set him on my bench to try to get a good portrait but I thought the little pink tongue drinking my ice water drops off the bottle was much cuter. At one point for just a second, his pit bull stance showed itself when another dog came to the fence around our yard and he actually barked at someone that came close to me. So there you have it, after several hours of playing, he fell asleep while I was holding him and no amount of talking or gentle shaking, rolling him over etc., he could not be woke up. The man who threw this puppy away is missing out on some real joy with this totally lovable and loyal little bit of fur! I have some little videos from my camera, wish I could upload those.
