Sometimes I simply do not understand humans, if I had not been sitting on the porch chances are that this little guy would not have lived too long...he is probably about 4-5 weeks old and doesn't even weigh a pound! So this is my newest rescue:-) I watched this guy take a paper bag into the vacant field across the street and leave it and I saw it was moving so I went to investigate and heard these little yips so I opened the bag to find this little guy inside and brought him home. He absolutely loves me and he captured my heart too...of course! I don't like pit bulls but I can't let him die :-) so this is Tanner my new baby...I am typing with one hand because he is curled up in my arm asleep, lol, and its 4:20 am!...geez whats a girl to do...he wants to be on me constantly and this can't go on with the 4 am stuff but for now I will oblige, he is just too little not to...:-)
***I should have clarified, its not the dog I don't like, its the hair, I am a fluffy dog kinda person but this little guy will get every bit of love I have even if he was hairless:-)***

I don't think you'll ever regret taking Tanner in. Pitbulls are great dogs.
So........is it fate or incredibly wonderful timing on your part? Was the puppy lucky that he was randomly deposited within you line of sight, or was that all part of a grander plan? Regardless as to how any think of it, I cannot think of anyone who would be a better momma for this sweet little pup. Tanner is truly blessed,........and M'lady....perhaps so are you! Lynn, I was so excited when I saw your note saying you had a new baby and even more when I saw Tanner! OMG I am in love lol He is gorgeous. You are an angel! I just have no idea why people can do such things. Tanner is now safe and will be happy thank goodness
As I read your post and respond, there is a rescued baby at my house. I went in to work on Wednesday and was greeted by a lube tech saying "Do we have a project for you."(My tendencies are well known at work) A kitten was crying under the bulk oil tanks. We couldn't get him the first day (boy was I a mess)and left food, but another lube tech managed to catch him today. He is now cleaned, fed, and watered, hiding under my dresser. I'm not sure if I'll end up with him or one of the guys at work, but he will have a home here if he needs it. We're all calling him Rotel/Rotella (depending on the not yet determined sex) in honor of the place of discovery. I'll get a picture of him when he is calmer. Your Tanner is lovely. I'm glad you were there to rescue him. You're a peach!

Oh Lynn you are such a kind caring person, and I am so sorry I did not get here sooner, but you know my problems dear friend. This little guy is the cutest and I cannot believe that anyone could be so cruel as to literally dump the poor defensless angel.That poor pup must have been so confused and frightened, but thank God you were there and took him in. I know he will have the best life with you, hugs Jane xxx
