Description
A lovely bit of moss from the day Denise and I spent at the Arboretum. I have no idea what sort of moss this is. You would think I would be able to identify several types, given how much moss there is here, but ... no. I don't know anything about moss except that I like it, it's very pretty, and I'm hoping one day it totally takes over the yard so we don't have to mow!

Love the green, in the new growth, and the Lichen textures growing on the branches above. Dana
Now thats lovely! Nature at its finest... beautiful shot, excellent colours! Rob.
love the colours and textures .. I love moss
Little green stars---what a great find!!
So green and so beautiful! "smells" like summer!
another beautiful portrait from you, another beautiful crop making it an intimate view of a large living thing, and the yellows of the moss are beautifully backed by the subtle yellow-greens in the background. It's simple & beautiful, yet complex. What you do in these small spaces is amazing. It's lush & overflowing but presented like a locket: Everything spills & is contained in the small space you choose. A beautiful piece.
I love moss too and you have captured this beautifully. It looks quite delicate.
Excellent shot and beautiful moss....
