I made this made for the June food and drink challenge. I'm just now getting around to posting this. I wish I could take full credit for the idea behind this piece. I can't. I think I saw something like this in a photography book or maybe even a magazine about ten years ago. As much as I would love to give credit to the photographer, I can't. I don't know who did it. So when this challenge came about, I started trying to create something completely different. (Toast.) When that didn't pan out for me, I remembered this photo. For some reason, it came to mind. I began by looking at photos of pouring milk and strawberries. The milk or cream was the easy part for me to model. The strawberry, on the other hand, was a bitch - all those seeds. I know it could use more. I could have also just used a texture map. But where is the fun in that! The strawberry model came from www.sharecg.com, made by Mostdigitalcreations, StrawberryV4. I used its basic shape and added all those f*#king little seeds by hand. Lastly, the cream was modeled with the aid of metaballs in Byrce. Thanks for looking, and as always, enjoy.
