A pun on the dramatic lack of air support that I learned became common among german landsers towards the end of WWII. You've captured the "better" days with a very atmospheric and dramatic image here. If I should suggest a theatre: meditterranian/Kasserine, when Wehrmacht won one of its last pyrrhic victories against US troops. No idea, whether Luftwaffe was involved with air raids, though. Again; great image.

Excellent scene - plane vs. pistol! I was in Normandy last week and almost bought an authentic WW2 helmet for 150 euros! There is a shop in Arromanches which is fascinating but pricey ;(
