Description

This is the third generation of a series of exploration vehicles for travelling over rugged Mars terrain. Based on a diesel-electric drive system powered by methane and oxygen, it carries bulk supplies of these fuel components on a trailer. Range can be extended by resupply from the air, or preplaced fuel caches dropped into place for rendezvous.
