A long time ago, in a place far away, I lived on the fenceline of a papermill property. Thick with trees and brush, with a floor of scented pine needles and rich loam, I'd sit and enjoy the smells and the sounds of the forest. No one for miles, no sounds...only those of falling leaves, the slight stir of the breeze, a bird or a squirrel on a branch or the footsteps of a traveling deer. I remember well looking at the underbrush, touched gently with light filtering down from the canapy above and thinking it would be impossible to find that spot, that perfect view in the lens that would save the moment with all it's magic. Obviously, that was not so with you. You have done it perfectly.
