Description
"What about that one? The one in the back?" Shiva jerked her head toward the far end of the yard.
"Oh! The old Free Trader? Yeah, she's a good ship. She's well armed and armored, fast..too bad," Gorrimar sighed. "My people make those, ya know?"
"What's wrong with her?" Dante asked. "Besides the obvious wear and tear."
"Well, somebody ripped her guts out and stuck human gear into her, except for the powerplant, FTL and the mains. Now she's Xintrin on the outside, which most humans don't want, and mostly human on the inside, which most Xintrin don't want. On top of that, the mods they made included a plasma quad turret and they boosted the forward laser battery. You need a Class Two Weapons Permit just to own her. You have any idea how hard it is to find someone who..."
"Dante?"
"In my back pocket, Shiva."
"Gory? Give us the tour...and tell us how you got your hands on her."
"Well, actually, she's salvage. I found her adrift in the Ymir Asteroid Belt. Strangest thing, she was shot to hell, and you'd have thought....."

Awesome work!!!
Nice keep at it!
I enjoyed the story as much as the render. Well done! ")
The story is great and the image is wonderful! Well done on both and I look forward to the next chapter!!!!!
Like Savage dragon above, I too am enjoying the tale as much as the illustration. The ship does seem a bit too--"noticeable?"--to me. Much to bright and somehow out of place with the other ships in the yard. The texture just doesn't seem realistic to me--or at least doesn't resonate postively with me. However, I do like the contrast between the darker foreground and the lighter mid- and background.
Great scifi scene!!!
Good handle on the storyline: The classic, "or how we REALLY got this ship we have now.." Good job. da 'Rotter

Nicely done!
I like the classic sci-fi look and the story-line to go with it.
