No need to be kind you did really well, especially on the face. The mane (is that what it's called?) may need a bit more work compared to the face but still, you did good :)

I just love the originality, and your technique is incredible especially as it is your first attempt, I love it a lot. I am hoping to do the same as you soon, if my son sends me the wacom pad and pen he promised me LOl, hugs Jane xx

It looks like a "hippy" lion... I swear I seen this character singing: "Come on baby LIGHT MY FIRE". Looks like a great digital (first) painting... I'm assuming you were giving it a humanistic feel
