Sorry I've been so absent lately. I wanted to post something so you don't think I've disappeared. I've had a lot of unexpected company in the past two weeks. I've needed a break, so, I've been sneaking off whenever possible to teach myself Bryce. This is my first official stab at it. I have so much to learn. I'll return to the galleries next Wednesday (or sooner if possible) when things settle down a bit.
Until then, I wish you all happiness, creativity, joy, and good health.

This is wonderful Bryce work. It looks like you are and old pro
Lovely creation,Cathy.Very effective Bryce render. I love the character and all of the plants.
Wonderful! It's absolutely Ophelia! ("Soft you now! The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons be all my sins remember'd..." In that speech Hamlet nearly crushes Ophelia. You got her hopelessness & radiance all at once.) It's so great that you did Hamlet: You gotta know, your concept of Ophelia is amazing: You've caught her radiant soul, drowning not only in her sadness, but in the callousness of the world around her, including 'sweet prince' Hamlet who nearly crushes her in his tirades; and she's surrounded by all those flowers and plants, crying out in the midst of beauty she has inside her yet can't grasp, and which she can get no one to understand: This is a wonderful interpretation Cathy, it's really true to the play. This is how I pictured her in her last speeches, immersed in her own world because no one heard her, and yet seeming to be at one with all the beauty of the universe. Wonderful! Another fine literary vision from you, and appreciated to the core. Enjoy your visits, stay well, and when you come back hopefully I will have caught up with some of your other images too. Beautiful work!
Beautiful work!
lovely composition and overall image
Wow Cathy, I'm speechless. Your first Bryce image, done in disjointed sneak sessions...? It just goes to show that the tools a true artist uses are irrelevant - it's the vision of the artist that matters! I love every detail of this - the vegetation, the lighting, the composition, the sheer weight of emotion... Again, wow!

I always felt that she was mistreated. It doesn't look like she is getting to a nunnery any time soon. Wonderful work, use of Bryce, Cathy!
