Description
My backyard again, this time coming back from my walk to the ponds. In the background you can see the old barn in it's obvious disrepair plus the new pole barn with the green, shiny roof.
I hope you're all having a lovely spring.

Stunning capture.
Jodes, this is outstanding, very nice indeed!!!
Something borrowed - Something blue. I don't what could be borrowed in this shot, perhaps a scythe or a lawnmower for all the high grass. And, the only blue in this fine image is the sky.
Lovely view.
love Harry's comments, always has just the right song & observations....well, midwesterner, it poured like wild last night & the thunder was out and the place shook. So this shot is very pacifying by comparison. There's a real cradled feeling in this, lush and 'held', partly by the beautiful eaves of the trees, and partly by the beautiful curvature of the land. And I luuuuuv old barns (I'm sure Lynell will love this), and love that your old barn is still there, standing with dignity while the new one is probably sending you emails (telling you "puh-leeeese get rid of this guy!"). Love the two together. A simple but lush shot, and you got the horizon in the middle, and the sky pours through as gently as the day you captured. Beautiful work, Jodie.
Such a nice view:-) I love old barns actually...just something fascinating about them. Glad you shared this with us. :-)
Them old barns make great photo subjects; great shot Jodie!
Your path and framing is fantastic, it leads the eye to the more "moody" display of disrepair. Excellent contrast.
Fantastic place. Both are beautiful and unify the "feelings"i guess.Wonderful cature of the blue sky framed with so beautiful trees.
