Description
This is a young Western Ribbon Snake and it is a new species for me to photograph. I have seen them a few times but this one is the first I was able to catch. They are very very fast, lol. They can grow to over 4' in length. This one is about 18"

Nice little reptile. The colors are very interesting. Hope they are not poisonous...
Nice shot.
Beautiful creature
Definitely one of my favorite subjects although I produced only a few photographs. Great way to lend scale to the snake.
wonderful little creature! Fantastic photo!
Racing stripes make this one look fast. Excellent photo Lee!
great shot! He/she is pretty,(for a snake)!
What a lovely capture. I remember catching these and Garter snakes as a kid.
What a charming little fellow! Lovely image.
Surprise he didn't bite you? ..Nice capture !!
great foto
Great looking snake, we don't have much in the way of snakes in the UK,only two and only one is poisonous and on too bad at that.
neat snake and photo!
I can't believe how tiny it is!!! Super capture and beautiful markings. We have a 1.5 metre corn snake and she is adorable but she looks so overgrown compared to this little thing. Excellent photo!
Fantastic photo!
