Description
Here you see both sides marching back to the camp after the battle at Manfields, Louisiana. the south did win this small battle but lost the war. look it up on google and you see a lot of sites telling of this battle if you a civil war person.
thanks for looking and comments
note the lady in the marching ranks and how young two of the men are.
I could not get to a pov of the marchers as they come in to get the cars out of the photo. But the cars is the people that came to watch the battle and you see them going back to they cars. My truck is park in a diff place

And we all stood proud, both North and South to unite into one bond and never allow this to ever again divide the states. Thanks for sharing, jock.

Nice shot you made, but I dont want to see more 'war' images! Hug's Ute
This is really awesome
This would look great in black and white, or sepia, as well I think, I would also perhaps crop out a bit of the background crowd to bring the photo more to the viewer, just a suggestion. :)
When Johnny comes marching home again, hurrah, hurrah.... Pretty cool POV of this multiuniformed, or should I say, multicostumed, army of Yanks and Rebs marching past, Jock McGregor! A couple of the troopers don't look a day over 12-years old.
Fantastic capture!! Thank you for sharing!!
Yes jocko your right they look like they are just kids and that's wonderful that they are so interested I guess we need to be reminded how young some of our guys and gals are right now fighting some things never change: great capture!~5+++
