Description
I have captured this image the same late afternoon (May 31st) when the GPS took us over a mountain on a wicket dirt road! The color of the light that afternoon was just spectacular. The road is called the Magalies Meander Nr 5.
I am dedicating this image to everyone who can call this land home as well as all those who are dreaming of visiting this beautiful country and would love to feel the pulse of Africa in their hearts!!

WONDERFUL COMPOSITION & COLORS :)
Just last night I was talking to another of my BFF's, whose name is also Caron (slight spelling difference). She's spent a lot of time in Africa and while we were talking, she found a CD with fotos of one of here trips. I heard in her voice how she longed to go back --- and this makes me understand why. We all live in our own worlds, and there's much to love about them. Then we either travel to another land, or see fotos such as this and yearn to see. Thank you for sharing YOUR part of this world!!

That is all yours? Awesome! Are you thinking of a huge housing and commercial development in the future? Lol. As for feeling the pulse of Africa in my heart, I welcome that as long as it isn't actually the pounding feet of a ferocious rhinocerous heading for me, hell bent for leather, tearing up the turf, while I'm standing on the veldt complacently admiring the scenery. In any case, splendid lighting and striated effects in this shot, Carin!

Its not my country and I have never visited a part of africa, but it looks great with all thes mounts and hills near and far away. And I like it when somebody is proud about his/her country as you did. Thats always right. Thanks for sharing this pic and your feelings about it with us.
