Lilacs are among the few non-ambulatory things I know the names of, but that's probably because I grew up with lilacs and peonies that made interesting backdrops for the extravagant battles I'd always staged with Star Wars action figures as a kid with an overactive imagination. I love the color captured here, as well as the delicate structure of the petals. I can virtually smell them! Great work.

Lots of music in the capture (in the interaction of the petals), and the petals have real texture and 'heft'. I agree with Chip, I can almost smell them. And your background is always done just right. Very delicate shot, but strong too, and as always, the right size & shape.
