Description
Using the two sets of co-ordinates supplied by the Triangulator to plot a third point in high Earth orbit, SWORD's satellite moves into position to deploy its unique weapons system. Knowing that a rocket or missile launch from a satellite in space will be detected by ground based tracking stations, and reveal the fact that SWORD is more than just a multi-national research and development company, SWORDS scientists have developed a weapons system which can rely on Earth's gavity to deliver the payload to the correct location on the ground far below. One after the other six metallic spheres, each one weighing half a ton, and coated in a ceramic armoured shell to protect them from the heat of re-entry are launched from the satellite using a blast of compressed air. They will travel halfway round the planet before entering Earth's atmosphere and look to ground based tracking station like a series of small meteorites which have arrived from deep space.
