Description
...trying to catch the glowing colours of late spring/early summer in my country, with focus here of course with the flowering rapeseed.
Not the easiest scene I've worked on, alone the texture for the rapeseed flowers was difficult to get right, now it looks like I want it to, at least:)
The road/terrain is based on a large-scale (6000x4000) imagemap hand-drawn in Photoshop.
Vue 7.4 Complete render, levels/colour adjustments in Photoshop.
Houses in the background are from "rodluc2000" and "martin62" - thanks!
Except from a few standard Vue trees, the rest of the trees and plants are by me.
Thanks for taking a look, comments etc. welcome and appreciated.
Have a nice day
- Lars

Very nice! The foliage is totally filled in - beautiful flowers! The background including the sky looks very realistic. One note: the road looks icy to me.
This is beautiful and you really captured spring here
Great job on the flowers. I do agree that the road looks a bit rough. When I can't get a function small enough to look good, I either scale up the entire render, or sometimes you can add a filter with a whole bunch of keypoints.
Great job! Road textures are always a pain, especially when you use a procedural, but this scene is simply awesome, rates at the top!
Apart from the landscape being somewhat 'flatter' over here, it could almost be 'my' country (Holland) with the windmill in the background.. Great scene
very beautiful image!! nice work!!!!!
Perfectly captures the light on the fields in summer. Excellent work!

奥行きを感じる道路のうねりが素晴らしい！！！！！ Wonderful work!!!
Really awesome composition!
Very impressive realism, I would almost beleive it's a photo, and I'm hard to fool :) and you got that spring fields look just perfect.
Is this a Vue render??? I'm deeply impressed!!!
