Description
After the recent fires that we had that were stopped within 2Km of our Township, I went out into the burnt out area to see if there were any signs of regeneration and there is was, the colour green! I will post a couple more of the regeneration growth in the coming days!
For a better view zoom in, but be careful not to singe your nose!
Thanks everyone for your comment on my recent posts! Have a nice day.

This is incredible. I love the geometry of it...the upthrusting trunks, the fallen trunks with carbon scoring. Great, moody work. I particularly like the sense of color. The greenery, the light, and the hints of wood tones is fascinating and works perfectly here. I also love the signs of regeneration. It's amazing, but not so unexpected...nature is quite resilient, and as I heard in the remake of "the Day the Earth Stood Still" if earth dies, we die...if we die, earth survives. THAT keeps things in an interesting perspective! Great shot here, and a wonderful visual commentary.
as disastrous as it may seem, it does renew the forest and the fallen trees provides homes and food to many species.---but looking at it the contrary seems true
Sad but necessary...a great shot of life returning!
Stunningh capture.
Wonderful to see, especially those tree-ferns! I did the same up on the heath this week, very interesting to see which species are most resilient.
Fantastic capture
very sad backgroundstory .. but fascinating shot !
Nature is amazingly resilient. Excellent photo
I'm sorry to hear about the fires but glad to see that Mother Nature has a way of renewing herself! Nicely done.
OHHH What a sad sight. But I see there is hope too. :) Excellent capture.

This is a fantastic shot and a reminder, that nature will always find a way to heal.
wonderful and terrible photo!
What an outstanding photo to be proud of. I am always amazed how quickly the forest can regenerate itself. Which part of Victoria are you from?
Beautiful photo!
Beautiful, profound shot. Life does indeed go on and Mother Nature proves that time and time again. :)
