My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very touching and personal. I almost feel like I'm intruding on your private space. Sweet dreams to you and your special friend.

Beautiful poem!!, Reminds me of when we first met, she lived about two hours away, and we could only see each other every other weekend. During the time in between we'd talk on the phone each night, until the battery would go dead on my cordless. I would then drift off to sleep, thinking thoughts like this. Thank you for the step back!

catching up on past absences...this is lovely tara, and so very pure, I mean it's the stream of friendship without any interference...from a person who understands that "friends" are family, and family is the heart. Fine division of lines, each one a breath of feeling; and the last stanza is beautiful, flying to a beloved person on the jetstream, above the normal streams of air where feelings glide unencumbered. Beautiful. Lucky friend that gets to be on the other end of this...but then you'd say you were lucky too, as true friendship is two ways...
