I love flies, even though their table manners don't adhere to a human standard. Still, having mouth-parts like that must be pretty cool! But I digress... This is a fantastic photo and I love the details. Flies always have such gorgeously red eyes, and it's great that you snapped this one before he zoomed away. Fantastic colors and yeah, zoom is a must for this. You even captured his adhesive foot-pads: quite a feat, since they're not that big!
