Description
This is a panorama of a scene memorialized by a plaque at the "Valley Of Fire" in Nevada. According to the plaque John J. Clark was on his way from Bakersfield to Salt Lake City. He was found under his buckboard where the marker is now. He died apparently of thirst. His body was found on the 30th of June in 1915.

What a fantastic view! Beautifully captured, and the history is so interesting.
And the moral of this story is Canadian's might want to plan ahead when crossing a desert like this during the heat of summer??? You would think with his time in the US he would have done better preparations, but then, I read reports of this same thing happening today with people who off-road in the desert. Gorgeous view and it gives a sense of the solitude.
I've heard numerous horror stories of people who drive across Australia and do not bring enough water. They also don't bring a toolkit and basic replacements like hoses and belts for the car.
This is a superb master-piece by you. 5+.
