Description
I wasn't able to get close enough for my usual bird shots. This was the first time that I have seen spoonbills an felt there might be more people out there that haven't seen them either. I'll try to find them again in the future.

How wonderful when you see something new! A lovely composition, showing the environment.
MARVELOUS!!! it's really refreshing to see these birds as part of a larger whole instead of the 'standard' close-up.
Never been near where the live I guess. Excellent find- no doubt you will find the way to get closer again.
Excellent capture.
Wow, I've never seen them before! It's a great shot, even if it's not one of your brilliant closeups...you'll get one soon, I'm sure!
I haven't seen them before so it is good to get a look. Lovely pic.
Great shot John and they still look wonderful in this beautiful habitat
I've never seen them before, awesome shot. Thanks for sharing this.
WOWW Beautiful shot !!!
I love their coloring !! The background is amazing!!! Very nice nature shot all around ! 5++
They are very pretty birds! I have only seen them once and that was in the zoo in Oahu. Nice framing for this shot - it shows their environment quite well!
