Description
I had a pamphlet with the names of the wildflowers and don't you know I can't remember what the heck I did with it.
This is the purple-pink flower you see interspersed amongst the yellow in my previous upload, "A Sea of Yellow".
It is beautiful here in Southern California today. The sun is shining, the temperature is mild and there is a slight breeze. I sat out on the patio with a book soaking up the weather while I can! ..... the thorn in my day is a freakin' backed up garbage disposal. LOL. What can I say? Is there a good samaritan out there willing to unclog for me? Hehehehe. .... and my cat just brought me a lizard. :P
Have a great day/night.
Hugs,
~Melinda~

Fantastic macro.
Stellar POV, clarity, colors, lighting and textural effects in this shot of the mystery wildflower, Melinda! The bloom looks like it has a lot of agrapanthus in it. Don't know what to tell you vis-a-vis the garbage disposal.
Beautiful macro, beautiful presentation!!!!
I adore the colours in this composition! So soft and delightful to behold... a wonderful display and presentation to accentuate the beauties of nature! Makes me want to get out there and take some of these home with me! :) Love the border as well, very beautifully presented and composed indeed! I also must say, that your description of the setting with the "slight breeze" is ever so soothing, and seems to tell the story of this intricate little beauty!
Very nice shot
