Description
I just love this flower,;its fame is far from the glory of the rose but its color and the perfection of the petals are as great.
it is easily spotted in this season all over sardinia.

Cool crinkled flower and insect!
Ma è la rosa canina? Non amo particolarmente le rose ma questa pianta selvatica la adoro
Che splendido fiore, Alida! mi piacciono i suoi petali "stropicciati"... e il colore è favoloso! :)
Beautiful flower...love the natural light
Those crinkled petals give great depth to this and the wide open face is beautiful. Stunning flower shot.
Those ironing dry foliages show quite well that this flower has a very pleasing character, and the little busy ant seems to like this hot plant too. Yes, love is in the air in springtime. Isnt it? .... to rustle... or: to cosy up to sb.... smile me. Your fancy hearted name-letters are the top of it and they are the final touch at the same time. So sweet...
Bella e soft di cattura.
Very pretty! I guess this is one flower that cannot be pressed without losing its very character. We have nothing like it here, that I know of anyway. The ant is different though, I think we have about 13 trillion of those!
Very beautiful, and the ant is a bonus!
Fantastic photo.
Veramente bello questo fiore ! Io fotografo valanghe di fiori ,a nche se ne posto molto pochi , ma un giorno o l'altro faro' vedere anche quelli.
