Description
This is the bypass that is being constructed so that traffic will not flow over Hoover Dam. They are building the bypass arch from both ends which will meet and be connected in the middle. The cables seen holding up the arch are temporary. Once completed, the cables will be removed and concrete supports will be erected straight up from the arch to the roadway. When completed in 2010, the bridge will be dedicated and named the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.
