Description

Here's the third picture in the five picture story arc featuring SWORD's Vortex Fighter on its first weapons test flight. The Vortex employs a "fire and forget" missile system for long and medium range attack and defence slaved to an integrated fire control tracking system built into the pilot's helmet visor. All the pilot needs to do to be able to launch a missile is get a view of the target through their helmet visor, push the missile firing button, the missile launches, automatically locks in on to the target and bang - problem solved. This Vortex pilot has already destroyed two J-29 target drones and has launched missiles to take out the remaining two.
