Description
When we visited Las Vegas 13 years ago, we hopped a bus to the original strip downtown. It was a seedy and dirty place. We beat a path out of there pretty quickly. We were in Las Vegas from May 2nd to May 9th (2009) and visited Fremont Street again. The area has been cleaned up and a canopy was erected over the section containing the casinos. At night, they have music playing with images projected onto the canopy. Here are two shots showing the canopy during the day and at night. Enjoy!
